- My beloved son, who is the absolute joy of my life.
- My Russian husband, who continues to love me after 21 years of marriage although I can be a difficult person to live with.
- A good job with an understanding boss and good friends as co-workers
- Orgasms. What? Too shocking? This is my list goddammit and it's one of the best things about being alive.
- CAKE. All cake. Especially birthday cake.
- Wine. Specifically white wine.
- Champagne. I would have a glass with dinner every night if I could.
- Friends that have been with me since I was a teenager.
- Friends I have made through this blog.
- Pizza. (Mmmmmm.... pizza).
- The first cup of coffee in the morning.
- Snuggling in bed on weekends with both my guys.
- Good health.
- I'm grateful and happy that my son's two surgeries this year were successful and without complications.
- My house. It's not huge and we could definitely use more space (especially since we've had our son) but it's ours.
- Two reliable cars to drive. During our first year of marriage we drove a 15-year old Toyota Corolla with a broken gas gauge and a slow oil leak. Which meant constant trips to the gas station because you never knew how much gas was in the tank. We also had to constantly top up the oil level. Still, it was better than taking the bus. Oh, and the air conditioning didn't work, so we tried to plan trips to the grocery store late at night during the hot summer months. (Good times, good times...)
- This blog that allows me to be myself. Sometimes the joy crushers of the world want me to be a different person. Well screw them, because I like who I am.
- I have family members who love me and who would help me in a moment of crisis.
- I have friends literally all over the world who I could call on in a moment of crisis.
- I'm happy that l I didn't die in a horrible car accident in 1992 on a highway in Illinois. How sad it would been to have missed everything that has happened these past 23 years. I am grateful for my life.

Please note: the InLinkz will expire on January 15, 2015. After that date, no blogs can be added.
Please note that only blog posts that include a list of 50 (or an attempt to write 50) things that made you feel Happy or 50 things that you are Grateful for will be included. Please don’t add a link to a post that isn’t part of this exercise; I will remove it. Aside from that one caveat, there is no such thing as too much positivity. Share your happy thoughts, your gratitude; help us flood the blogosphere with both!
